Booking terms and conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation or staying at Riad Bensaid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Reservations and Booking

2.1 Booking Confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Riad Bensaid.

2.2 Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 30% is required to secure your reservation
  • Full payment is due upon arrival or as specified in your booking confirmation
  • We accept cash (Moroccan Dirhams, Euros, US Dollars) and major credit cards
  • All rates are quoted in Euros and include applicable taxes

2.3 Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Check-out: 12:00 PM
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to additional charges
  • Late arrivals after 10:00 PM must be arranged in advance

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Standard Cancellation

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
  • Cancellations within 7 days of arrival: 50% of total booking amount
  • Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows: 100% of total booking amount

3.2 Peak Season and Special Events

Different cancellation policies may apply during peak seasons, holidays, and special events in Marrakech. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

4. Guest Responsibilities

4.1 Identification

All guests must provide valid identification (passport or national ID) upon check-in as required by Moroccan law.

4.2 Conduct

Guests are expected to:

  • Respect other guests and maintain reasonable noise levels
  • Treat the property and furnishings with care
  • Follow all house rules and local laws
  • Respect Moroccan cultural norms and traditions

4.3 Prohibited Activities

  • Smoking in rooms (designated smoking areas available)
  • Bringing pets without prior approval
  • Hosting parties or events without permission
  • Illegal activities of any kind

5. Riad Bensaid Responsibilities

5.1 Services Provided

We strive to provide:

  • Clean, comfortable accommodations
  • 24-hour reception and assistance
  • Free WiFi throughout the property
  • Daily housekeeping service
  • Assistance with local recommendations and bookings

5.2 Service Limitations

We cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted internet or utility services
  • Specific room assignments (room type guaranteed, not specific room)
  • Availability of all amenities at all times due to maintenance

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Guest Property

Riad Bensaid is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to guest belongings. We recommend securing valuables and obtaining travel insurance.

6.2 Personal Injury

Guests participate in activities at their own risk. Riad Bensaid is not liable for injuries resulting from guest negligence or activities outside the property.

6.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, or civil unrest.

7. Damage and Additional Charges

Guests are responsible for any damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Excessive cleaning requirements
  • Damage to property or furnishings
  • Lost keys or access cards
  • Extra services not included in the room rate

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from your stay will be resolved through:

  1. Direct communication with our management
  2. Mediation if necessary
  3. Moroccan courts as the final authority

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Marrakech, Morocco.

11. Modifications

Riad Bensaid reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and apply to future bookings.
